How to choose dildos
Dildos come in realistic, fantasy, glass, metal and silicone styles. The specs that matter most are the insertable length and the diameter (girth), because those decide comfort. If you are new, start smaller than you think you need.
Material is the other big choice: platinum-cure silicone, glass and stainless steel are non-porous and easy to clean, while softer realistic materials (TPE, PVC, "skin" blends) can be porous. A flared or suction-cup base makes a dildo harness-compatible and is required for anal use.

Dildos FAQ
How do you choose a dildo size?
Compare insertable length and diameter on the spec table. Many people find a 1 to 1.5 inch diameter comfortable to start with; go bigger only once you know what you like.
How do you clean a dildo?
Wash with warm water and mild unscented soap or a toy cleaner, rinse and let it dry fully. Non-porous materials like silicone, glass and steel are the easiest to keep clean; follow the maker's instructions for the material.
Can you use any dildo for anal play?
Only dildos with a flared base or suction cup should be used anally, so they cannot slip in completely.
